Large Glass Beetle Serving Bowl

A few years ago, the rosemary in my garden became overrun by tiny, iridescent green beetles. They were the sweetest things I ever saw and my boys and I plucked them off the rosemary bush and made them a home in a terrarium in the kitchen, where they lived happily (I hope), for the next 3 months or so. These beetles I have painted are slightly different in shape to the original, but I rather like their shield like form.
This sturdy bowl , made from tough, pressed glass, is 28cm across at the top and is 15cm tall, featuring lots of little iridescent stripy beetles. It is hand painted using a black outliner and then two layers of iridescent colour.

Your order will come simply, but attractively packaged, in the style, shown.

Each and every piece is painted by hand, by Toasted Glass designer and artist, Monique Low and you may to have to allow a little, extra time for your order to be made. Please refer to the Shipping section for the latest, approximate dispatch times, before you place your order, if you are concerned.
